Photos from the Thanksgiving Holiday

These three people were the most important at Debbie's Thanksgiving dinner: Debbie because she hosted us, Stacia because it was her birthday the day before Thanksgiving, and Natalie because she was the entertainment!

Natalie and her Aunt Jody enjoy a quiet moment.

Mom never eats a Thanksgiving dinner without first giving thanks for a glass of wine.

Aren't they a cute brother/sister team?
John and Jody - you have made your parents proud.

Debbie was relegated to the 'kids' table,
but I don't think she minded too much because Natalie was there.

We finally talked Nancy's sister Barbara in to spending a holiday with the Siefers family.

The Thanksgiving table was absolutely beautiful.
We each had our own fresh rose.

John is now Grandma's favorite grandson because he kept the wine flowing.

What is that look on the faces of Mick and Co?
I think it was about who had to do dishes.

Greg did the honor of carving the turkey.

Jody, did you make the sweet potatoes or just add the marshmallows?

What is so special about this photo of John and Debbie?
The answer - Debbie has her eyes open!

I forgot to post two birthday wishes!

Happy Belated Birthday to Stacia!

Happy belated birthday to Di! She is the one holding two fingers above Jackie's head.

It was an absolute joy to visit with Robyn, Karsen, and Logan at halftime of the football game Saturday. Wow, those girls look just like their mother. Robyn and I coached basketball together in 1992 at Wilson. One of the greatest days in my life was being in the delivery room with Robyn when Karsen was born! Robyn is a KU fan, but she supports her nephew Jordy Nelson.

Susan and I enjoyed the football game in style on Saturday by sitting in one of the boxes on the East side of the stadium. Actually, it was the only way I would have been able to be at the game because I still am not able to endure the heat, sun, and standing. Yes, it was hot in the sun on Saturday.

Photos of the Day - Dad and Kevin's birthday celebration

My mom and dad (Velma and Casey) and siblings - Debbie, Bill, and Susan

This was a difficult photo to take because Garrett and Anna were squirming while we tried to take the picture with Fern and Joyce. Thanks ladies for the brownies and tapioca.

Aunt Joan put a little hot fudge topping on Fred's ice cream. Thanks Mom for making the home-made ice cream!

Sam was the true center of attention at the party.

Happy 83rd Birthday to my Dad - Casey Siefers

It's a big day - November 15 - because it is my Dad's birthday. Isn't he a handsome man?
