I really did fly on the K-State plane

I feel special now! Yes, I flew on one of K-State's planes - the turbo prop Beechcraft - last Monday to Scott City as part of an Alumni Center recruiting trip for high school seniors. I went with a couple of students, an admission representation, and an Alumni Center representative. We landed in Scott City and then drove to Dighton for a dinner and short program. I gave a short speech about K-State and the School of Leadership Studies. The flight from Manhattan to Scott City took about an hour and we flew right over Dorrance!
