Mary Kay, Deb Karst told me of your cancer and sent me your blog site. I remember you well from "softball days" in Russell and know you are a fighter! Hang in there. There is light at the end of the tunnel! I finished chemo 12/29/06 and radiation in March. I was also diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma. Reading your journal is like reading my own diary! Keep your chin up, even when it is difficult, I know you can do it! You are a strong person and you have a great support group. Don't hesitate to call on them for help when you need it. They are, and want to be, there for you. Each step you make is one step closer to getting through this and on with LIFE. You have several steps behind you already...the diagnosis, the tests, your plan of treatment, and first treatment. It may seem like a long road now, but you will see that light at the end of the tunnel soon!
