This is a place for me to share information about life's journey. It is my way to stay connected with you and to share my thoughts, fears and laughs. Thanks for spending a little time with me.
Luckily, I had a doctor appointment in KC on Thursday. Thank goodness Leah was born on Tuesday evening, so Nancy and I were able to visit Leah just a day and a half after she was born. Leah and her parents, Jody and Tim, were already home from the hospital Thursday afternoon and we spent a few hours with them. I made a short video from the photos of our visit. Enjoy seeing Leah on her first few hours at her home. Her dad and mom took her for their first walk together in her stroller and her grandparents (and Nancy and I) doted on her the rest of the time. Welcome to the world beautiful baby Leah!
Leah Elizabeth was born to Jody and Tim on October 19 at 10:20ish in the evening. She weighed in at 7 lbs. 2 oz. Leah was born on her Grandpa Greg's birthday. He said it was the best birthday present ever. Can you believe that Leah's first toy was a Saint Louis Cardinal mascot? I can't wait to see her in the powder blue Royals outfit that I bought for her.
I love these babies. To the rest of my nieces and nephews - keep the little ones coming!
Well, I've been at it again. I added a few special effects to these photos of Greg and Natalie. I am sure Greg would love to have the birthday present of a new grandchild on his birthday. Go Jody, go!
Happy Birthday Jody, I can't wait to get 'the call' from you in a couple of weeks about the little one. Take it easy - if that is possible as you prepare to welcome a baby into your family and you prepare to move to Illinois. Anybody up for a trip to Cardinal country next month?
