Christmas Fun with the Fager Family Sisters - Nancy, Barbara and Jane

Nancy and our Christmas wreath that was given to us by Nancy's cousin Alan.

Harvey and Jane

Nancy and sister Barbara
As you know, Barbara is a massage therapist in Manhattan. For Christmas, she arranged for all of us to have a massage at Body First where she works. It was absolutely wonderful! Thanks Barbara.

Sweet Sara found humor in Rob's eating style.

If you look closely at Rob's face and thumb, you will see the remnants of a Thielen Beef t-bone steak.

Um, Um, that steak is good.

Rob got every last bit of meat from the steak.

Hugs of sisterly love for Barbara and Jane

More love for Barbara and Harvey

Rob serenaded us with guitar music from my 40 year-old guitar that my uncle Booty gave me when I was a young girl. If you look closely, you will notice it only has four strings left. I think that is from the great nieces and nephews who play it when they visit. Rob still played beautiful music with only four strings. He really is quite talented.

Frances was able to spend most of the day with us on Monday. Frances lives at Meadowlark in Manhattan and is doing well.

Pearl loves Harvey, she sat with him during the present opening. As you can see, she looked at him adoringly. I think Harvey might remind Pearl of Joe.

Harvey and Pearl

Sweet Sara looked good in the purple santa hat to balance the red from the husker sweatshirt.

Jane seemed pleased with her gift from Christopher and Banks.

Rob doing what college kids do - messing with some high-tech gadget.

Three of the Fager sisters - Barbara, Nancy and Jane. The fourth sister, Becky, lives in Montana.

Rob and Kramer took a nap together - how sweet.

The view from the upper level. Notice the nativity scene on the glass table - Nancy combined two different sets into one display. Mom gave me both of these nativity scenes, or as Hallie says, tivity scene. Now Deb and Susan will probably be jealous to learn that Mom gave me two sets.

Christmas at Thielenville

Matt and Lori bought Hallie a Little Tikes jumping tent. I am not sure what the actual name of the gismo, but it is an enclosed air-padded jumping tent. Hallie invited her cousins on Christmas day to share the joy.

Debbie and granddaughter Natalie looked at the photo album that Nancy and I gave to Debbie and Greg.

Natalie are you drinking wine? Ok, so maybe it was sparkling grape juice, but the kids loved the idea of being part of the toasting.

You will see lots of the Snow White and Cinderella dress up costumes. Grandma Thielen gave Anna and Hallie these for Christmas. Anna had already left to visit her grandparents in Topeka so Natalie played Snow White on Saturday's Christma celebration.

The expecting parents Sharon and Kevin. The little one is due in mid April.

Sweet Debbie

Susan shows off her photo album that she received from Nancy and me.

Between his birthday and all of the Christmas parties, John has been celebrating every day since December 23.

Sweet Hallie and me

Mom has the touch - Brooklyn is butter is mom's hands. Nobody holds a baby like my mom.

John and Stacia are just a couple of weeks to the due date of their second child. I am in high sensitivity mode every time the phone rings now. It just might be John with the news of the most precious gift in the world.

Natalie, I mean Snow White, seems to be playing the part well.

Time to get out of the tent - Garrett's legs, Sam, Hallie, with Anna still inside.

Sam made a big exit when it was time to leave.

Sweet Sam with the greatest smile in the world.

Matt helped Sam catch butterflys in the Elefun game. I am not sure who had more fun - Matt or Sam.

More smiles from Matt and Sam

They had a great time.

Anna, I mean Snow White with a Dora necklace, caught butterflies, too.

Can you tell by Garrett's smile that he caught the most butterflies?

Matt kept telling Anna that he was going to get her a banana for Christmas. Anna's reply was that she would stick the banana in Matt's ear. Well, it all came true.
Anna stuck that 'wrapped' banana in Matt's ear. Then she unwrapped the banana and ate it in typical Anna fashion.

Garrett and his guitar and microphone

Love Birds - Joey and Kelly

Brooklyn fell asleep with her fist up in the air.

Hallie was in the Christmas spirit after drinking sparkling grape juice.

Bottoms up

Sweet, Sweet Nancy

More Christmas spirit, I think the wine was starting to take affect.

Hallie was going after more spirits, but Kelly had her eye on Hallie just in case she chose the wrong bottle.

Sweet Brooklyn

More of Sweet Brooklyn.

Proud parents Matt and Lori of their daughter Brooklyn

That's a sweet family

That's what I'm talking about, a kiss for Mom and Dad!

Nancy and me after Christmas eve mass in Saint Joseph's Church in Dorrance (note MK is wearing Nancy's jacket- WOW!)

Kelly and Joey and kids. I would say Garrett, Anna and Sam are ready for rest, it must have been a big day.

Grandma Siefers with her great grandchildren: Brooklyn, Anna, Hallie, Sam and Garrett. The only one missing was Natalie.

Hallie, with the help from Susan and Nancy, put together a gingerbread house. Hallie did a GREAT job of staying with it from start to finish.

More Hallie

Nancy and I bought boots for the Thielen kids. Garrett, Anna and Sam had cowboy boots while Hallie got snow boots from us. Her parents had already purchased cowboy boots for Hallie.
