Mom has pneumonia and serious baseball players

Mom is being treated for pneumonia in the Ellsworth Hospital. She was admitted on Thursday morning because she was very weak. I have come to realize that mom is one tough cookie. I don't even think she considered that she was sick prior to Thursday morning. Even though she has spent a couple of days in the hospital, I don't think she would say that she is sick. Mom is constantly on the go so this time in bed has been difficult for her. I am sure we will see her in the silver streak very soon. For those of you who don't know, the silver streak is the nickname for her car.

For some reason Garrett decided he would play the role of the intimidating baseball player. We played a game in Susan's front yard on Friday night and he wanted me to take photos of him with his new look.

He stared down the pitcher, who happened to also be the photographer - me.

Even the practice swings were intimidating.

Garrett even taught his little brother Sam how to look tough.

Serious Sam

After the baseball game, the fun broke out. Garrett gave his sister Anna a ride on the John Deere trike.
Hallie was in on the fun, too.

Sweet Hallie

We like to call the Silver Streak the S.S. Velma. Look forward to seeing it buzzing around town soon.

I love the picture of Garrett & Anna on the trike.
