More from Thanksgiving visits

Lori took Hallie and Brooklyn (and Matt) to a hay meadow to attempt to take a photo for their Christmas card. Susan, Nancy and I just happened to be driving in the same area, so we stopped to watch and take a few photos of our own. The three of us on on top of a hay bale. Now, you might ask yourself how did they get up there? Well, Matt lifted the two little ones up and he actually boosted me up. I will let you make your own visual image for how that happened, but just know that Susan and Nancy 'split a gut' from laughing at the sight of Matt boosting me on the bale. Lori was much too nice to take a photo of the boost or to laugh. Thank you Lori.

Sisterly love between Brooklyn and Hallie

The Family Von Trapp, oops, I mean family Thielen

Brookly, Brookster, Brook, Brooky, or Brooklyn - she gets called many versions of her name.

Enjoy the next few photos of Lori and Brooklyn

Susan and Grandson Sam cuddled under one of Debbie's quilts.

The realization that Santa will soon check if Kelly's been naughty or nice.

The realization that Kelly has a wonderful husband and three beautiful children.

Father and son

After Thanksgiving, it was time to dispose of the pumpkins. Joey carried it to the creek and gave it the ole heave ho.

A soccer game broke out in the front yard at Susan's house. I love this photo mostly for the fact that Matt's favorite farm vehicle is in the background. Yes, that would be the Orange Crush feed truck.

I guess the three kids were lined up to block a kick by Kelly. Notice Garrett is giving some sort of signal to his teammates by holding two fingers down.

Watch out Kelly! I don't know where Sam is running, but he seems to be happy about it. You can click on any picture to see it in a larger view.

Ok, is this a friendly teammate hug or the start of a sibling fight?

Just what I thought, a sibling fight.

Even in a tussle, Sam is still smiling at the bottom of the pile.
