On New Year's Eve, Debbie, Susan, Nancy and I had a party with Garret, Anna, Sam, and Hallie. Garrett organized a slumber party for all of us. He arranged the chairs in theater style and served us popcorn and hot chocolate as we watched the movie Polar Express.

Anna tackled Sam. I don't think she will get away with that for much longer because Sam is starting to understand sibling 'wrestling'
Ok, so we didn't let them watch television all night, just most of it.
They did fall asleep around 10 pm on new year's eve. Garrett slept on the couch

Cousins Hallie and Anna slept in Grandma's bed
I don't think Debbie and Susan were too excited about this photo - we rang in the new year with a bottle of champagne, a few resolutions and then we watched the movie Momma Mia. Most of us actually stayed awake during the movie.
Karna visited on New Year's Day. She 'carved up' or 'peeled' or 'cut' a
pomegranate and the rest of us enjoyed her work.
