A Mother's Day Gardening Event

This was Anna's version of an indoor garden. She emptied a huge Easter basket full of fake green grass. She recruited her parents Kelly and Joey and her brother Garrett to clean up the mess.

Debbie was the master gardener for the patio area and the planted pots. Garrett served as Debbie's assistant and planted several flowers.

Garrett ventured on his own by choosing the special places for his plants.

John, Kelly's dad, provided the labor for the stone-post lined garden they made for Susan. As you can see, Kevin served as the technical adviser for the project as well as making sure he held up the shovel.

Everybody joined in the project - Susan and Nancy used the cart to move the heavy stuff.

Kevin presented his mom Susan and aunt Debbie a gift of an empty pot for mother's day.

How many people does it take to make a stone-post lined garden? Well, most of Kelly's family helped with the project. Her mom Jo and two of her children - Anna and Garrett - contributed to the project. Just a reminder - you can click on any photo for a larger view. The expression on Anna's face is priceless, she is very serious about her job.

Anna, Garrett and Kelly worked on the garden, but what is Debbie doing in the background?

Anna helped her dad Joey move dirt on the skid steer.
