Another birthday party wlth the family

Jody, how do you really feel about school starting soon?

Oh, I see how you feel about the summer vacation ending in a few weeks for you.

Debbie and Sam playing the flip game.

More flipping

Sam - upside down

I think Sam likes it.

Debbie doing what Debbie does - quilting

Jody showing off her first quilting piece

Debbie and Hallie take a short stroll on the dock

MK, Susan, and Hallie

Kevin

The kids had strict orders that they had to have an adult escort them on the dock. Hallie doesn't know that Mick has not reached adulthood status yet.

Next time we will take a chair for Kevin.

Hallie and Anna finally found an adult to escort them on the dock - Jody.

The onlookers - Mick, Colleen, Nancy, and Mom

My sister - Debbie

Jody, MK, Debbie, Anna, and Garrett

Garrett offered his roasted marshmallow to anyone who would take it. He liked roasting them more than he liked eating them.

My Mom, Velma. It was a beautiful July evening with temperatures in the upper 60's as the sun went down.

Garrett and Kevin making and eating s'mores.

Sam ended up with his s'more stuck to both hands. He could not get either hand free of the sticky mess.

Kelly joined the fun with Kevin

Sam and his s'more

Hallie liked to eat the chocolate from her s'more and leave the rest for her dad.

Sam and Susan enjoyed a fresh tomato.

Sam took several bites out of two tomatoes that were sitting on the kitchen counter.

Jody,
Thanks for the comments. You are now number 8 on my list. As you know, I keep a ranking of my 8 nieces and nephews and who has been the nicest to me. If you are nice, you get the number 8 spot. If you are not nice, you get a ranking of 1. On this list, the number 1 is the niece or nephew who has the responsibility of taking care of me in the old age. So really, it is best to be number 8 because you have at least 7 cousins who are before you on the list of taking care of me. So, Jody is now #8. Alicia, Adam, John, Rebecca, Kevin, Matt and Joey - you have a little work to do!!

I have really enjoyed having Nancy around this summer. I am pretty sure that I was thinking about the stimulus when I got sick on the ride.
