More harvest happenings

In addition to harvesting wheat there was milo to plant. Matt & Kevin are
filling the planter with seed and fertilizer.

Nancy's brother-in-law, Harvey, from Lincoln, Nebraska has spent several
days helping out during harvest. He has become a professional
tractor/grain cart driver. His help has been much appreciated.

Dosen't Kelly look comfortable in her combine?

Hallie and her Mom, Lori, on a beautiful evening in the field.

Kelly's Mom & Dad (Jo & John Reilly) brought tacos to the
field to feed the harvest crew. Jo fries her own taco shells
and they were delicious.

Nancy's sister and brother-in-law (Jane and Harvey) spent a week at Thielen farms to 'experience' wheat harvest. Anything is possible in the harvest field - even a bottle of white wine to go with dinner.

It is a tradition to take a family photo in the wheat field during harvest. Joey and Kelly with their children Sam, Garrett and Anna.

Ahh, what a sweet kiss!

The combine dance of getting the combine header through a gate that is much narrower than the combine header.

There is a lot of activity in the harvest field. Joey is giving directions to Harvey. John and Susan are corralling Sam, Anna and McKenzie.

Harvey spent lots of hours in that tractor.

I was sitting in the cab of the truck and leaned to the passenger window to snap this photo of Kevin and Sharon. The spots in the window is dust and chaffe because the combine is dumping grain into the truck.

I love the harvest pics! Nothing like a family photo in front of a combine!
