An inch of rain on Saturday night through Sunday afternoon gave us a break from the farming, but it didn't stop the work of breeding heifers and hauling them to the pastures. Joey didn't want me to take this photo, but I did anyway. We reverted to mud boots, but the mud and cow poop still has a way of getting all over you.
As Joey and I drove out of the pasture, I took this photo looking to the north and Wilson Lake. You can click on the photo to see it in a larger window.
Nancy and Susan gave Anna and Hallie a pedicure and manicure. Anne seems surprised at the toe separators.
